COVID-19 : UPDATE ON ECCM-19 - May 18th, 2020The 19th European Conference on Composite Materials (ECCM19) will be held in Nantes, France between June 22-26, 2020.
As announced on March 30th, the 19th European Conference on Composite Materials won’t be maintained in June 2020, in Nantes, due to the current situation in Europe around the COVID 19.
The Organizing Committee has explored various options for the conference and finally, with the support of the European Society for Composite Materials (ESCM), it was unfortunately decided to cancel the ECCM 19.
Regarding that cancellation, partners, exhibitors and delegates registered to the ECCM 19 conference, have already received by email the refund conditions and process. If you were registered and did not receive an email, please contact us (email@example.com / firstname.lastname@example.org).
We are pleased to announce that based on all the quality abstracts we received for that edition, the Organizing Committee has agreed with the Journal of Composite Sciences to publish a special issue on “Composite Process Modeling and Characterization” (More details here).
Please note that the deadline to submit your manuscript is fixed on December, 31th, 2020. More to come for other opportunities to publish your work in peer-reviewed journals.
Moreover, some online ECCM 19 Conference sessions will be organized for free, from June 23rd to 26th and Pre-conference short courses for students (PhD & Master) will also be held on June 22, the preliminary program will be updated and announced soon on the ECCM 19 website.

ECCM provides a forum for accessing to the most up-to-date knowledge from both industrial and academic worlds in all the fields of Composite Materials. The meeting will provide an opportunity to highlight latest developments and to identify emerging and future areas of advancement in this dynamic field.
With its recognized economic dynamism, its universities, centres of excellence and research and development infrastructures devoted to composites, Nantes and the Pays de la Loire region represent a privileged site to host this new edition of ECCM.
ECCM19 includes plenary talks, keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations, and an entertaining social program for delegates from around the world. The event layout and schedule will provide many opportunities to network, learn, discuss and share with colleagues from across the world. A special attention will be paid to the youngest attendees where pre-conference short courses will take place on Monday, June 22.
